It’s amazing how, over the past ten years, God has put people into my life. So many amazing friendships have started in the most subtle of ways. Now, as I’m barely 2 weeks away from leaving those relationships, I cannot help but wonder, what and who is next?
Tonight I joined a Facebook page for others moving to the Hills Campus in July. I can’t help but peruse their pictures and basic FB info and wonder, what will come of this? Who of this bunch can hold a candle to my best friends here? Will one of these people become a new best friend? A ministry partner? Bandmate? Wife? (hmm gotta be careful with that one)
It’s staggering to think of all the possibilities that are about to lie before me. I’m fighting my controlling nature and need to plan things down to the last detail. I’m letting go and allowing God to show me the next step. It’s scaring, but I’m finding peace in the unknown.
Let’s hope that peace stays consistent!
